... according to http://www.edu.gov.on.ca/eng/general.../holidaye.html the Canadian/Canadien mid-winter school holidaye is scheduled for March 12-16 on the calendar .... with 194 school days minimum required by regulation ..... aye! oui! ... with 195 scheduled for this 2017-2018 Canada school year.

So, how does the Province of Ontario and all Canada fit in 15-days, which is three weeks time, more school days than New Hampshire? Instead of having both February and April vacations, Canada gets just one week off in March, plus apparently two weeks less in August to total out at 195-Canada vs 180-New Hampshire.

... and, the State of New Hampshire requires no fewer than 180 days.... so NH school age students have 10 more days to help with the snowmobile trail clearing chores in August as opposed to Canada...... New Hampshire thinks of everything!
