Well, to my knowledge, the BoS, School Board, and Legislature are all paid - volunteers are not.
The major service organizations that exist seem to be focused on their ''canteens''; so also a moral conundrum.
The younger generations are showing less time in church - much more time on the internet/social media - and they don't seem to have the problem.
So I am a bit hesitant to believe that any of these things are the basis of the situation.
