Default Sno-Streaker update

2-6-09 We did not receive any snow this week but cold temps and active grooming have gotten the trails set up in very good shape. The groomers have been pushing snow into high traffic intersections and things look good. This is The Rotary Fishing Derby weekend and the weather is supposed to be warm and really nice. My guess is that with the hundreds of people in Meredith and the warm temps we will experience Spring like trail conditions in certain areas of our trail system. Be careful because by Sunday we may have exposed rails and switches on the tracks in areas and possible some rocks poking up in the woods. Enjoy the weekend!!

2-8-09 Trail Hazard - It has been brought to my attention that the lower Prescott field is being riden on along the edge of the dirt road. The road in that section is actually the trail (between the tennis courts and the turn off behind the bowling lanes). The hazard is some partially buried bleachers that are on the field and difficult to see at night. We did not mark them because that was not intended to be trail. Please ride on the snow covered dirt road in that section and try to stay off the fields - Thank you!
