Post Very Scratchy and Stupidity Knows no Bounds

Hi all,

We went out for a ride today and the trails around Rt 106 in Laconia (Prison Loop/Woods/Tracks) are extremely thin. There are a number of exposed rocks and logs. In addition, washouts are numerous; we only got stuck temporarily in one of them. The trails are very icy, so studs are pretty much a must.

The most entertaining part of the ride was when we found out that a few kids had gone down the trail 1/2 mile by Pedal Pushers in a Pontiac. Apparently, it is shown as a road on GPS and they blindly followed the GPS. They got to a washout and turned around. At that point, they could not get back up the hill. We went over to the barn to ask the snowcat to go pull them out; they were not thrilled (I would not have been either).
