Yup, they aren't cheap and as much fun as I think it would be to own one, I can guarantee that I Won't be buying one.
I figure that if I can scrape up the money for a monthly payment for a Can-Am Spyder that there is a lot more important places for that money to go. Like.
Mortgage, gasoline, heating fuel, new heating system etc. etc
