Probably even longer than forever, Lucky. I imagine there are many, many families that divide their cottages up and everyone gets a week or two. Some of my family members do that but I've been fortunate enough for the last several years to have a place for the entire summer. The Lake is my favorite place in the world, as I bet it is for most people who spend time there.
