Not sure if it is that much more extreme. Definitely much more visible with social media and advertising.
Growing up I didn’t know what I was missing. Now it is thrown in your face every minute of every day. Grew up in a small house with one car and one black and white tv. Thought we had it made even though others had bigger house, two cars and color tvs.
Too many people no longer thankful for what they have, they are envious of what they don’t have.
