I think all of the previous FFs have been planned by weekenders living in places other that the Lakes Region. The issue is really the commitment to set the time and place... and to monitor the posts for the volunteers and contributions.

For the event itself... it mostly runs itself except for the raffle. Someone needs to bring tickets, a table for that... and make sure that others are bringing tables for the items.

If the event is held somewhere that needs permission, someone has to arrange that.

Now... some people always do something... Lakegeezeer likes to put the event on the internet... so needs power... Some folks can always be depended on to do some other things.

At the event itself... people just do things... like grab some food and pass it around... set up tables, arrange raffle items.. etc.

Why don't you organize it!!!!
