As you know, you are a little late to look for a weekly rental this summer. I have a waterfront rental house in Gilford that was fully booked for this summer by mid February.
A lot of rentals are not open to pets so if they could make arrangements to have the dog stay elsewhere it may open up more opportunities.
There are several agencies around the lake that represent 100's of single family homes and you might try contacting them.
