Did she get a reward? One of those $100's would have been appropriate. Or perhaps a gif-cert. from Hannaford.

In 1962, my six yr. old triplet sister (I'm not a triplet) found a wallet on a beach in Gloucester. The $150 in it was a lot then.

She never thought of keeping it, was quite proud she was able to track down the "young" man who lost it. He drove about 100 miles to get it. She handed it to him, he said, "Hey, thanks" and drove away.
