Nobody anywhere will let you hang around for hours with your dogs at your side on any beach. Not sure I'd go looking for waterfront for that reason but to each his own.

We'd be happy just being able to walk them in at a boat launch to cool off. We have bulldogs so they are content with just a quick wade to cool off. Unfortunately our beach is too far with no parking and no dog access so we'd like to eventually find something with better access for us and the dogs.
