Not my intent and agree. Taxes, local or not, are a hot button issue. For me, I recognize how fortunate I am that a grandparent had the foresight to buy island property almost 100 years ago. Taxes have gone up as has the assessment. Very admirable, many properties change hands because families are split up all over the country and it places a financial burden on the ones that can't use it.
