What I like is I don't have to wait for all that water to boil and also heat up the kitchen on a hot summer day. The micro boils that small amount of water real fast. No I haven't tried it yet, but I will. Ever since I converted to a propane stove from a smooth top, water boils reallllll sloooooow. Micro, particluarly in the hot summer is the way to go. Thanks again.
