Charge the battery fully and then bring it to a store that sells batteries, they will load test it for you and determine if it is good or not. Once you have a known good battery in your boat, try my test after a day of boating and see if the battery is fully charged. If it is great, if not, you should address it to avoid being stranded on the lake someday...
