In Mass, this issue is so out of control--dentists billing uninsured clients a huge premium over what they charge insured clients/insurers--that Delta Dental has (or at least had) an "insurance" plan that has no insurance, it simply allows the patient to pay 100% out-of-pocket at the price the dentist would charge an insured patient. Some might want to see if this is available in NH.
