However, your boat is large and slow.

With floating debris, the unseen sub-surface objects wouldn't be a problem -- even in the dark.

Would you recommend radar for Mink Islander's bat?

Sidebar: California has some very restrictive night-boating limits on their lakes...starting at no boating at all.
