Grafton Pond (not in the Lakes Region, but same principle), one of New Hampshire's prime kayaking destinations, was not kayakable last year. I heard they were working on the dam in fall 2019, but the water level never recovered in 2020. I heard that water was being diverted to other lakes in the area due to the drought. That appears to be persisting into this year. I have had a stream rushing across my property in the spring for the last 27 years. There is not a drop of water this year. Plus, I've never heard fire warnings in the spring before. I share your concerns!
