I'm a couple miles past JoJo's so for me it's almost all about convenience, although my family does love the subs. If I'm somewhere "off neck", I'll get what I need but no way am I driving up to the end of the neck for milk, the paper or worms. Russ knows that many people feel the same way and he's got to make his money in a shorter amount of time since he closes up for the winter. Additionally, his employee costs can sometimes end up being more than he originally planned.

I do have to say that I will more often than not stop at any other store before JoJo's for items. This dates way back to the days when Buzz (Russ' brother) was working there and lets just say that he was improving profit margins in the meat department in ways that weren't all that customer friendly.
