Russ has owned the place( made major renovations) for ~ 30 years and over the time opened all year and at one point tried to compete with Heath's as a full service market with ad's in local papers , but went to summers only a few years ago. I use to live on the Neck and would go every day for coffee, paper and great chocolate chip muffins. He has stayed in business by offering a good product and higher prices but convenience of not having to drive to Center Harbor. I always believe when a store has stayed in business that long they must be doing something right and his lot is always full in the summer.
