I had friends use a trailer for long term storage of a vehicle they did not want to part with. When they went to retrieve the car the humidity in the trailer had done a lot of damage.

If I were going to use a trailer for long term storage I would at a minimum get a dehumidifier and also be concerned about the temperatures inside the trailer..
