I am using it now out on the deck, but can use it on the boat, at the beach, and I even used it in the car (when my wife drove) all the way up here. It's not expensive at all, and well worth the price, if you come up and need internet service. It's the best thing I have ever got!

My experience is the same as The Eagle. I have a Verizon wireless card for my laptop and a Storm. Both work great all around the lake. Speed actually is very close to my wired Metrocast.

I don't use the Storm for much "internet" but it is very fast for my company VPN and email applications.
