A natural death can come very slowly to a refrigerator, Redwing. You may not have enough time left to allow your 1960 Kelvinator to "die a natural death." We're still making use of the 1927 General Electric Monitor Top refrigerator that my grandfather bought new. (He's been dead since 1947!) My parents are gone, and I'm 63. I'd bet that it will outlive me too.
