We lost power on Moultonboro neck around 6AM. The
NH Electric COOP site says over half its customers are without power. I'm running on battery backup and the wood stove is cranking. Amazingly, Time Warner Cable internet is still chugging away. The trees are heavy with ice, but not too bad. The temperature hovered between 30-32 overnight, so the icing was only mild. The ground is covered with a white crust from the sleet that fell yesterday. The lake is way up with all the runoff. It is supposed to get down to 13 tonight and zero on Saturday nite. Fun and games in the lakes region!
