I just seen the first boat, a smallish white center console w/ two on-board moving slowly around the south end of Bear Island. Most all of the floating slush from this morning has melted, and it's about 99.5% liquid water, out there, as seen from here.
Hope everyone's island roofs survived the heavy snow and ice of the winter.
