My son is on a ship in the Persian Gulf. He's a lieutenant jg in the Navy. I've been sending chatty e-mails, and his last one to me said, "I'd love to hear any news from the Lake." He may be back here in mid August, but there's a possibility that he'll be gone until February.
He probably meant personal stories from me, as where we live is kind of a "family compund," but I'm sure he'd love to hear anything about Lake Winnipesaukee or New Hampshire. (He's got the state flag hanging in his room on the ship.)
