Does anyone know what the deal was at Weirs Beach early Sunday morning? We were cruising out the channel at about 8am heading to breakfast, as we cleared the bridge we saw hundreds maybe thousands of people filling the beach and park area. They had tents, gas grills, dinning canopies, jet skis tied up to the rocks... Looked as if they were digging in for the rest of the weekend. I did not see anything in the local papers about any special event at the Weirs - Any ideas??
