When we leave Weirs Beach after the fireworks, we make a nice big arc from the western shore, up into Meredith bay a little, and then over to FL44 before we head north east. It avoids all the hassle of getting from FL1 to FL2.

Sure you can...that's why boats have "Anchor Lights". The rule in NH is that you can't anchor "overnight". This rule seems pretty gray if you ask me - how can they enforce this?
