I knew ice out was not to far away after being up there this past weekend. My kids and I had a blast hanging out at Weirs Beach and the channel - in the water up to our knees (yes it was extremely cold) and pulling out huge chunks of ice. I have been going there the past twenty years, but have never seen the ice moving and breaking apart as it was on Sunday afternoon.

As a side note, this is my 1st official post, after reading this forum almost daily. The info posted makes such a wonderful area, even better. Thanks!
