I drove from Center Harbor to Alton on the west shore between yesterday and today. The area around the Weirs is looking thin and had water puddles yesterday, but the puddles re-froze last night. Meredith Bay is still ice and there was still ice around the Alton Bandstand around noon today.
I believe we are two to three weeks away from ice-out. I really hope I am wrong. It is time for a boat ride!

I drove up yesterday and there appears to be thin ice pretty much everywhere. Paugus is still iced over as is Gilford harbor. I think that there is a possibility for an earlier ice out (than 2 weeks) if the storm on Monday churns things up. Otherwise, I would quite agree.
