As I sit here in a ice storm in Pa, I agree with Grant and secondcurve that if Mitt is elected the town will become a mess. I vision it to be like the 4th of July everyday, except satellite trucks rather than parade floats. Imagine all the loonies that would show up to "see the sights". The one good thing about it would be our rental rate out at the island house will be increased!
I'll pitch this idea, if he wins, cut back the taxes on the local people (landowners) and use the newly introduced revenue to the town to make up for the reductions. How about designating a media friendly area where all media park their trucks and pitch tents. Stage the area by the town dump or the sewage treatment plant.
