I'm writing this note to inform you,
that tax's have taken away the things I value most highly,
my reindeer, my workshop, my sleigh.
So I am making my rounds on a donkey this year,
He's aged,crippled,and slow.
So you know if I'm not there by christmass,
I'm out on my ass in the snow.
