Personally, I don't give a crap if I'm a customer, guest, client, or any other name a business wants to give me. I expect value, quality, and service for my money. If I don't get all 3, I'm never going back.

Business marketing plays to your vanity. If you think being called a client, etc., as opposed to a customer gives you special status then you probably will go to what you assume are "up scale" businesses but, higher prices don't mean better service, quality, or value.
