Separately, but related--if you're a dude of a certain age (pretty much all of you guys), tell your PCP you want a calcium score. It's an easy painless test which will give a rough measure of heart disease. Costs $200, not covered by insurance. My score led to other tests which showed that I was at high risk of a "widow maker" heart attack. I had no other symptoms at the time, and no above average risk factors. It probably saved my life.

X2. My score was so high I don’t want to say it. I had a barrage of other tests that say I’m in great shape heart wise. Now I see the cardiac doctor in two weeks
