I mentioned near the start of this thread that due to the lack of water at the end of our dock I am considering a pontoon. Test drove a Harris 230 solstice and I'm considering a Harris 250 grand mariner with a 400 merc. (someone mentioned get the biggest engine possible and I agree!). Looks promising but the devil is in the details.

On a slightly separate front, it seems to me the lake is getting lower more consistently and therefore dam management needs to change and NOT assume that we'll get X amount of rain after 6/1. Rarely does the lake level in late spring
deviate much from the norm.
