Then he's expensive, too, or they both offer a lot more food (or other value?).

Yankee Smokehouse is $30 for four meats, Rubbin' Butts just under $30 (when making the 1/4 rack a full).

The BBQ Shak and Smokeshow (the other two closest?) are more a la carte and harder to compare.

KC's in Bedford is $32 for three and comes with enough food to choke a horse.

Smokehaus in Amherst is just below $30.

Alamo would have to pile it on for those prices, and it doesn't look like that from the pics.

That doesn't mean I won't check it out, by the way—I don't mind spending some moolah if it's worth it, especially if in a cool area like the Weirs—but given my Brookline Alamo experience and the pricing, I'll be going in with high expectations.
