I mocked the watch for years before being "forced" to buy one to monitor my exercise, now I love it. You might do a bit of Googling to see if a found watch can be reset for a new user. If yes, buy a charger and give it a go, or give it to a young relative. Note that when you plug it it, you may receive a message from the owner, and it may activate a homing signal. If that happens, you can return it to the guy and ask him to pay for the charger  |
Yeah, if AW batteries lasted long enough to get all that data. I had no idea most only lasted a day until a few hikes ago when my friend's died a mile from the trailhead...and my Garmin had 85% left. AW = criminal.
