Worker's Comp costs increase with claims.
The beeping and flashing warns nearby employees that the machine is backing, and that the operator may be unaware of their location relative to the machine.
Unfortunately insurance being what insurance is... the industry rate is partially set by the whole. So some acting without regard to safety increases the costs to all.

Are you stating the insurance companies are being deceptive? Or is it the State of NH that through its Legislature and Governors office have imposed and sustained laws requiring worker's comp insurance are being deceptive?
