Separately, is there a good use case for swapping snow tires for summer tires given the flexibility of all weather tires in the central lakes region?
Most of the time, all seasons will get you through. But on days like this, on some of the hills (25B in Center Harbor) in the area (up or down), it can be a battle. And while ice can be a BIG problem, snows can give you an advantage. Also, there are a bunch of dirt roads and driveways here. Mud season is a slippery mess, especially on my 600 ft driveway. I have AWD on 2 cars and a 4WD truck. I still put snows on the cars. I drive with confidence no matter when and where I go.
