Yup, I don't use consolidated, but I have an aol account (formerly verizon) and a gmail account. The spam filters catch a lot of it, but a fair amount gets through.
I just learned about a feature in gmail where you can add a + and a descriptor to your email address when filling out forms, the email will still come to your gmail account, but the descriptor let's you know who sold your address.
You do it like this: say my email address is
[email protected]. If I'm setting up and account at Sears, I would enter my email address as
[email protected]. The downside is that you need to remember that you used this later if you need to recover a password.
