I've been visiting the Whining Butcher a few times a week since they opened on July 4th. Andy and Gretchen, the two young people who run the shop, are extremely personable and helpful. They really want to make this work and are more than willing to entertain ideas about what we as the community would like to buy from them.

Apparently they will have less ready-for-the grill type products in the winter and instead will stock more home-cooked, ready to eat foods, like lasagna, etc. Wish I was going to be around for that!

I served the burgundy steak tips and the key west marinated chicken at a party last month and it was a big hit.

If you get a chance, check them out.
