It has been recommended that you do not keep more fuel in your boat than you can use in a week or two. Todays fuel does not store well and will start to break down within a week or two. This information came as a recommendation from a trusted marine surveyor (my father- at least I better be able to trust him
). He has attended conferences in which this has been a topic of discussion.
