Depending on where you are and how you have your lift positioned -- are you relatively deep water to shores edge or shallows significantly (quickly)….. I would keep an eye on it each weekend and make your own assessment.

I have personally helped "drag" a boat off it's lift because the owner waited a tad too long in a relatively shallow area near his dock and the lift did not go down far enough to float the boat. We literally left the stern drive "up" and with my boat, gently pulled him off the lift.

With that said -- do not panic either -- he simply didn't watch the water dropping for 2-3 weeks nor was he high & dry - simply not enough water under him whereby he could even "Power" himself off that lift.
