I am not sure I would trust that.

I put in a system that was about $1,000. It has a charcoal filter, a sediment filter, and a UV chamber for bacteria. I change the filters and the UV light every spring and it has worked well for 4 years.

Two weeks after installing it I had the water tested and it tested drinking water clean. It might be a little more expensive but to me it was well worth it.
