This was a postcard posted by Al Skipper of the Sea Que

and he said, (and I quote) "
This was a thrilling ride for many years. Winter it was a ski slope, in summer they put in two, 3/4 mile "cement troughs" or tracks. You would take a nice ride up the mountain on the ski lift. Pick up a plastic sled at the top and take a short walk to the start of the track. The first few years we were able to got some exciting speed on those things (some riders lost control). They later added runners to the sleds to increase drag and SLOW them down a bit. Some years later they added a few water park type slides to the Alpine Ridge attraction."
