All-
I'm not looking to create any issues with the neighbor who owns the vacant lot, but being that it is vacant makes us nervous that they will sell it to someone who may become a problem in the future, so we are trying to protect ourselves. We also would like to build a new camp and use the old one as a bunkhouse. The new camp will obviously have to be completely on our property, so a survey will ultimately be required regardless.

Based on other members responses I think our route will be to leave the camp where it is, claim adverse possession if need be, and get a survey for the property for the future camp. Sure as heck beats having to move it.
