It appears there are two types of licenses. Permanent that continues in force even if you change residence to out of state, and a lifetime NH Resident only (don't move) license which was free in the past. Maybe not anymore, but certainly not $50. Details at F & G HQ 271-3412 or in the 2017 guidebook (my friend says page 7.)
