Regarding lake activity on the 4th, I heard from a source that WAM stayed open late to accommodate a large number of boaters due to two nearby gas stations running out of gas. A notable number of boaters didn't even have the decency to tip the dock attendants, who were working their butts off to ensure everyone was able to receive gas and pump out service. The topic of tipping has already been discussed on this forum but the situation that occurred at WAM should not be overlooked. Considering how expensive boating is (i.e. disposable income), tipping (any amount) should be standard practice if the service warrants it.
