Sad, that so many of our WWII veterans are passing on and the news media does not exhibit the honor and devotion to our veterans of this great battle.

I have been to Normandy on June 6th a few years ago. The French in this are or France do honor and respect all those who served and more. I was personally thanked by locals right on the edge of Omaha beach.

Like it or not we do have to respect the rulings of the US Supreme Court.

He was convicted of violating the draft laws of the United States. He refused to serve in the US Armed Forces.
His conviction was overturned on a technicality by the US Supreme Court.

From Wikipedia:
"War is against the teachings of the Holy Qur'an. I'm not trying to dodge the draft. We are not supposed to take part in no wars unless declared by Allah or The Messenger. We don't take part in Christian wars or wars of any unbelievers."

A great American hero? You decide.
