Winnisquam Marine has the largest selection of rental tri-toons in the area up to and including a 250 HP I believe. They are on Winnisuam and not Winnipesaukee however.

Goodhue & Hawkins in Wolfeboro used to rent decent tri-toons as well as Fay's boatyard.

I think if you rent a tri-toon with the same size motor that you are thinking of buying, as well as the same length this should give you a very good representation of what it will be like.
