While I was under the cottage working yesterday I noticed that a couple of the center line piers are at a pretty scary angle due to the movement of the land downslope over the years (obviously 4' footings weren't dug during the original construction). I would like to investigate getting some of the piers replaced and am looking for a recommendation of who I can contact who would be skilled at doing this and willing/capable of doing this kind of work on an island. Can anyone make a suggestion?
Definitely call Steve Buzota at Island Support Services. He has done many pier re-dos on Rattlesnake for the exact same issue you mention. His pricing is fair and he his work is excellent.

Good luck!
